All original poetry, prose, articles, "Sanctuary Sheets," and design elements found within The Library and the Writer's Corner are the exclusive property of TassandraInk and are protected by copyright laws.

Your membership grants you a personal, non-commercial license to read and enjoy these works. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or sell any of the original content found on this site without our explicit written permission.

We believe in protecting the rights of writers. You retain 100% ownership and copyright of any original poetry, stories, or comments you post in our community spaces, such as The Gathering Hall, Kindred Voices, or the Community Scrolls.

By posting your work on TassandraInk, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license simply to display that content within the platform for other members to view. You can delete your own work from the platform at any time while your account is active. If you delete your account, approved Community Scrolls you submitted are anonymized by default and kept on display (or fully removed if you request it when deleting your account); pending or declined submissions are deleted. See our Privacy Policy for the full account-deletion details. We will never sell your work, claim it as our own, or publish it outside of this website without your direct consent.

TassandraInk is a sanctuary. By joining, you agree to abide by our Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms and accepted alongside them for members who use our community features. We reserve the right to moderate content and to suspend or terminate the account of any member who engages in harassment, spam, hate speech, or the unauthorized copying of another writer's work, without a refund.

The Writing Studio provides AI-assisted tools to help you brainstorm, plan, analyze, and revise your writing. The following points apply to all Writing Studio features:

• AI Output May Contain Errors: AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccurate information. It should be reviewed carefully rather than treated as authoritative.
• Your Responsibility: You are responsible for how you use any material you submit to or generate from the Writing Studio. Review and verify all output before relying on it.
• Research Verification: Any research information, sources, or citations suggested by the Writing Studio must be independently verified. Do not rely on AI-generated sources without confirming they exist and are accurately represented.
• No Guarantee of Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of AI-assisted features.

The Writing Studio is intended to assist learning, planning, brainstorming, revision, and creative development. It should not be used to:

• Misrepresent AI-assisted work as entirely unaided work where prohibited.
• Facilitate plagiarism or the unauthorized use of another person's work.
• Evade or circumvent academic-integrity rules at your school, university, or employer.
• Circumvent AI-detection or plagiarism-detection systems.

You remain responsible for complying with all applicable school, university, employer, or institutional rules regarding the use of AI-assisted tools.

You retain any rights you already hold in your original submitted writing. TassandraInk does not claim ownership of your work merely because you submit it to or save it within the Writing Studio.

For AI-assisted output generated for you, you may use that material subject to applicable law and the rights of any third parties. TassandraInk does not guarantee that AI-assisted output is copyrightable, unique, accurate, or free of similarities to other material. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and appropriately using any AI-assisted material you generate through the Writing Studio.

This section is a general statement of our approach and is not legal advice. If you have specific legal questions about your rights or the use of AI-assisted material, please consult a qualified attorney.

Saved Projects are account-associated private storage features within the Writing Studio. When you intentionally save a project, it is stored associated with your account and is accessible to you according to the platform's access controls.

Canceling your membership subscription does not itself delete your Saved Projects while your account remains. After membership access ends, Saved Projects may be inaccessible until eligible access is restored. If you later resubscribe with the same account, your Saved Projects may become accessible again. Permanently deleting your account is a separate action that removes your private Saved Projects and Studio usage records; see our Privacy Policy for the full account-deletion details.

The Game Room offers literary games, solo play, competitive duels, word games, literary showdowns, badges, rankings, and leaderboards. Game mechanics, scoring systems, rankings, and individual game features may be adjusted, improved, or modified as the platform evolves. A separate Game Room legal policy is not required; the conduct rules in these Terms and our Community Guidelines apply to all Game Room activity, including interactive communication such as duel chat.

We are continually improving the sanctuary. We reserve the right to maintain, improve, modify, replace, temporarily suspend, or discontinue individual features — including specific Writing Studio modules, games, badges, or community tools — as the platform evolves. This does not eliminate our obligations relating to memberships you have already paid for, nor does it waive any applicable consumer rights. We will provide reasonable notice where appropriate before making significant changes that affect paid members.

TassandraInk is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to create or use an account. Users under the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction must have parent or legal-guardian permission to create an account where required. Some educational material in the Writer's Corner and Writing Studio may be useful to students, but the platform is not marketed as a children's service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the sanctuary for material violations of these Terms or our Community Guidelines, fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or conduct that harms the community or the platform. We will act in good faith and provide notice where appropriate, subject to any applicable legal obligations. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid for the current billing period.

The sanctuary and its features are provided on a reasonable, good-faith basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

AI-assisted tools generate content that may contain errors or inaccuracies. Educational and creative tools have inherent limitations and should be used with judgment. We are not liable for decisions you make based on AI-generated or platform-provided content.

Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. The current version is shown by the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We will notify members of significant changes via email or an announcement in the sanctuary, and, where appropriate, we may ask you to acknowledge the updated version the next time you sign in before you can continue using member features. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
